Officially the Republic of Singapore this island country is one amazing visit. Modern architecture mixed with old world neighbourhoods give out a sensation of traveling in a future where the past still survives. Having four official (very different) languages makes for very exotic (and busy) signage. Also chewing gum is illegal here, how strange is that.
